Flutist Mimi Stillman, cellist Arlen Hlusko, and percussionist Gabriel Globus-Hoenich gave a performance and presentation and led an instrument “Petting Zoo” for an audience from children to adults at this Mexican cultural center in South Philadelphia. “Música en tus Manos” is our outreach initiative with the Latino community of Philadelphia, a project for which we won the Knight Arts Challenge 2013. With thanks to the Knight Foundation for sponsoring this project. We are grateful to the Yamaha Corporation of America for its support and for providing the flute and cello for people to try at the petting zoos throughout the project.
