DSE to perform at Hispanic Choice Awards

Dolce Suono Ensemble will be the only classical group to perform at the Hispanic Choice Awards at the Merriam Theater in Philadelphia on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 7:00pm. This red-carpet, televised event will showcase DSE’s Música en tus Manos project, an outreach initiative with the Latino community of Philadelphia. We won the Knight Arts Challenge 2013  for this project, and are currently working hard to match the grant in order to receive the funds.

We will perform music by Telemann and Piazzolla (arr. Ribchester) with ensemble artists Mimi Stillman, flute, Hannah Ji and Celina Velez, violins, Daniel Lee, viola, Robin Kesselman, double bass, Louis Xavier Barrette, guitar, and Charles Abramovic, piano.
