Conversation with Fang Man and Tim Early – Premiere of “Earth” this Sunday, April 14

Please join us on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at 3:00pm for a very exciting project two years in the making! Delaware County Community College is presenting us on its concert series in the world premiere of Fang Man’s Earth for Soprano, Bass-baritone, and Sextet. Distinguished guests Lucy Shelton, soprano and Evan Hughes, bass-baritone, will join our ensemble, conducted by Jeremy Gill. Choreographer Tim Early has created a dance for this interdisciplinary project, which he will perform with dancer Brittney Ryan.

The program will also include Chopin’s Sonata for Cello and Piano, op. 65 with Nathan Vickery, cello and Amy Yang, piano and Debussy’s Prélude à l’après-midi d’un faune (arr. Gustave Samazeuilh), performed by Mimi Stillman, flute and Jeremy Gill, piano. Our ensemble in the Fang is completed by Doris Hall-Gulati, clarinet, Julia Li, violin, and Gabriel Globus-Hoenich, percussion.
