CHAMBER MUSIC TOP TWENTY POLL
~~~~~ VOTE HERE ~~~~~
From July 1 to August 1, 2018, we will be collecting ballots from people worldwide selecting up to five of their favorite works of chamber music. We will then create a list of the top twenty pieces to be revealed as part of our new project “Fall for Chamber Music,” a 3-year project supported by the William Penn Foundation with the goal of engaging new audiences in chamber music.
ALL participants will receive a private electronic track of a Dolce Suono Ensemble performance, and will be entered to win special prizes!
We shall reach out to new audiences in Philadelphia’s public and civic spaces to share our infectious joy in chamber music, building enthusiastic community engagement. “Fall for Chamber Music” is designed with performances and interactive components for people with all levels of exposure to chamber music – from novice to serious music student to dedicated adult amateur.
The Top Twenty works will be revealed as part of a countdown to the launch of “Fall for Chamber Music” on Wednesday, October 24, 2018  7:00-8:30pm at the Free Library of Philadelphia, at which the top 3 winning works will be performed by DSE core artists and special guests, and we shall toast chamber music at our reception!
CAST YOUR VOTE BY EMAIL HERE: info@dolcesuono.com
Parameters: Choose up to five works of chamber music from any period, defined for our purposes as works for from three to eight instruments, one player per part, no conductor. Ensemble songs with voice are eligible, but not orchestral cantatas or arrangements from the operatic repertoire.
Thank you.  Once you fall for chamber music you’ll never be the same!
