DSE Presents “America at 250”

“America at 250,” featuring a program of works by Undine Smith Moore, Jennifer Higdon, Leonard Bernstein, Bobby Capó, Noel Estrada, María Grever and Consuelo Velázquez arranged by Gabriel Globus-Hoenich, and a world première by Jacob Bancks. With the rich songwriting tradition of Puerto Rico represented, the program is connected to our award-winning Música en tus Manos (Music in Your Hands) project highlighting chamber and popular by Latin American and Latino composers and engaging Philadelphia’s Latino communities.
