David Amram joins DSE as guest composer on May 31!

We are excited to tell you that celebrated composer David Amram will attend our Música en tus Manos concert on Saturday, May 31, 2014 and introduce his work Discussion for flute, cello, piano, and percussion
David Amram’s works have been performed by many of the world’s leading orchestras and ensembles. He has composed notable film scores including The Manchurian Candidate, and was appointed by Leonard Bernstein as the first composer in residence with the New York Philharmonic. A musician of remarkably diverse talent, he is as acclaimed for his performances as jazz musician as he is for his appearances as conductor of major orchestras.
