Claude Debussy Centennial Festival opens March 26!

cropped-DSE-Mozart-Ralph-bow-1-2.jpgDolce Suono Ensemble will give its first concert on the “Concerts at The College” series at The College of Physicians of Philadelphia on Monday, March 26, 2018 at 7:00pm.

The concert will launch our “Claude Debussy Centennial Festival” with a program entitled “Pleasure is the Law,” with music by Debussy and his compatriots Saint-Saëns, D’Indy, and Massenet, and a world premiere by Jan Krzywicki, professor of composition at Temple University. 

An all-star lineup of artists includes Sarah Shafer, soprano, fresh from her Metropolitan Opera debut, Ricardo Morales, principal clarinet of The Philadelphia Orchestra, Mimi Stillman, flute, solo/chamber artist and founding Artistic Director of Dolce Suono Ensemble, Arlen Hlusko, cello, solo/chamber artist and founder of Philadelphia Performances for Autism, and Charles Abramovic, distinguished collaborative pianist and director of keyboard studies at Temple University.
