DSE’s concert at Laurel Hill Mansion, June 25, 2017

Dolce Suono Ensemble enjoyed performing a “Music in the Second Capital” concert at Laurel Hill Mansion on Sunday evening, June 25, 2017. We presented the performance as in an 18th-century Salon, announcing the pieces as we went, while the audience’s programs included a list of composers from which we chose. Several concertgoers asked us to post our program on the website, which we include here.

The artists:

Mimi Stillman, flute/piccolo

William Polk, violin

Kerri Ryan, viola

Arlen Hlusko, cello

Gideon Whitehead, guitar

The program:

Ignaz Pleyel (1757-1831), Quartet in D Major for Flute, Violin, Viola, and Cello, B. 381
