Dolce Suono Ensemble’s annual Baroque program explores “high” and “low” origins of genres in Baroque music, from works which originated at court to the way rural dances were absorbed into classical forms. Our program includes Bach’s magisterial Trio Sonata from The Musical Offering,selections from Rameau’s Pièces de clavecin and arias by Bach, Handel, and Rameau.
