Concerts by Candlelight Series

 

Dolce Suono Ensemble presents a concert entitled “Thomas Jefferson’s Library” as part of our Music in the Second Capital Project, which explores the music of late colonial and early republic Philadelphia and the musical tastes of the Founding Fathers. This project is made possible by a grant from the NEA in its Imagine Your Parks initiative for the 50th anniversary of the NEA and the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service. The program includes music by Corelli, Handel, Mozart, Haydn, Pleyel, and Francis Hopkinson.
